About

Barbora Mrazkova  is a London based photographer with a passion for exploring the connections and relationships between people, place and the environments we inhabit collectively. Her style sits amidst documentary and fine art approaches to photography, with main focus on portraiture.

Barbora’s projects are often based around deep social engagements with subjects she photographs, which allows her to portray them as truthfully as possible. Through her work, Barbora raises questions about the relationships between the self and others, the private and public, the natural and built environments. Photography helps her find clarity within her relationships; with herself, the world around her and her different acquaintances. It is an emotional response.

Barbora graduated from MA Photography at London College of communication in 2017. She has exhibited her work in solo as well as group exhibitions in the UK, Czech Republic, and Sweden. Her photographs have been published in various online and printed publications including the Guardian, DAZED, DIY, VICE, i-D, Noisey, XLR8R, The Line of Best Fit etc. She is available for commissions worldwide.
