Series of Icelandic landscapes that I took on my first ever trip to Iceland, back in 2013. I remember when I first looked at the photographs from this trip, I wasn’t impressed and never felt like sharing them with the outside world. Over time, they’ve gained their power and relevance. They have become an indicator of my inner and outer, mental and physical transitions, of my awareness of passage of time, of my appreciation of here and now, and of why I fell for photography in the first place. This series is now infused with an immense sense of nostalgia; as new circumstances affect the way we look at things and what is important to us; as we grow older, we mature and so did this work.
